9 Then[a] Satan[b] answered Yahweh and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? 10 Have you[c] not put a fence around him and his household and around all that belongs to him[d] on every side?[e] You have blessed the work of his hands, and his livestock[f] has increased in the land. 11 But,[g] on the other hand, stretch out[h] your hand and touch all that belongs to him[i] and see whether[j] he will curse[k] you to your face.”
